What a Chiropractic appointment looks like
The goal of each treatment with your Chiropractor is to increase functional movement (do the daily things you do, better), rehabilitate post injury (get back to doing daily things) and promote a healthier and more active lifestyle.
Your first visit with your Chiropractor starts with a thorough medical history and physical examination including postural and orthopaedic assessment.
Chiropractic treatment is then provided to attempt to alleviate symptoms and have you feeling better. This will be followed up with a plan to correct or manage the root cause of your pain in the form of rehabilitation, so you do not fall back into a cycle of pain and become reliant on treatment.
If necessary, you may be referred for imaging or to your GP to help with your diagnosis and management.
